Alexander de Vaux grants to God, Blessed Mary and the mother church of Gullane, a stone of wax to be taken up annually from himself and his heirs on the feast of St Andrew in recognition of the right which the said church has in the chapel which his predecessors founded in honour of All Saints in his territory of Dirleton.

Omnibus Christi fidelibus hoc scriptum visuris vel audituris Alexander de Wallibus salutem in Domino sempiternam .
