John de Vaux grants and confirms to God, the church of St Mary of Dryburgh, the church of St Nicholas in the island of Eldbottle {Fidra}, the abbot and convent of Dryburgh and the canons of that house serving in that island, that grant which his father made to the foresaid house and canons regarding the church of Gullane and its pertinents.
