Hugh Wallace, lord of Craigie, grants to God, St Katherine the Virgin, and All Saints, and the prior and convent of the house of the Friars Preachers of Ayr, serving God and St Katherine there, 4 bolls of white oats annually from his lands of Craigie or 13 s 4 d silver, at the feast of St Katherine the Virgin, the patron of the convent.

Omnibus hoc scriptum visuris vel audituris Hugo Walas dominus de Cragyne salutem in Domino sempiternam Noveritis me caritatis intuitu ac pro salute anime mee parentum meorum successorum et omnium fidelium defunctorum dedisse concessisse et hoc presenti scripto meo pro me et heredibus meis imperpetuum confirmasse Deo et beate Katerine virgini et omnibus sanctis necnon priori et conventui domus Fratrum Predicatorum de Are ibidem Deo et beate Katerine servientibus et imperpetuum servituris quatuor bollas farine albe avenarum ad emendacionem fabrice et sustentacionem eorundem annuatim de terris meis de Cragine levandas vel pro qualibet bolla xl. denarios summa totalis pecunie tresdecim solidorum et quatuor denariorum argenti ad festum beate Katerine virginis dicti conventus patrone {. . .}
