Nicholas Irvine, the official of Glasgow, has seen a charter of Malcolm Fleming, earl of Wigtown, whereby the earl grants to the Friars Preachers of Ayr, for the support of the chapel of St Mary within the precinct of the house of the friars, constructed by him, the whole piece of land of 'Duppolle' with pertinents which once belonged to John of Kilmarnock.
