Hugh de Ever, lord of Kettins, for the salvation of the souls of John, king of Scotland and Edward, his son, his own soul and those of all his ancestors and successors, grants to God, St Mary of Coupar, and the monks, in pure and perpetual alms, his spring in the land of his Abthane of Kettins, called 'Bradewell'.
