The curate and chaplains of the college of the parish church of St Nicholas of Aberdeen oblige themselves to Master Simon Dods, rector of Invernochtie and canon of Aberdeen, to celebrate every Monday at the altar of St Andrew the apostle, situated within the said church, a requiem Mass with collect for the soul of the late John, earl of Mar, as long as the canon lives and, after his death for their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed etc. Dods has granted annual rent to them.

Vniuersis pateat per presentes nos curatum et capellanos collegij ecclesie parochialis beati Nycholai de Aberden teneri et fideliter obligari necnon tenore presentium firmiter nos et successores nostros obligamus venerabili viro magistro Symoni Dodes rectori de Innernothy ac canonico Aberdonensi perpetuis temporibus futuris ad celebrandum qualibet secunda feria ad altare sancti Andree apostoli infra dictam ecclesiam situatum vnam missam de requie cum collecta pro anima quondam bone memorie Johannis comitis de Mar quamdiu dictus canonicus vixerit et post eius decessum pro animabus ipsorum ac omnium fidelium defunctorum {. . .}
