Following grant by Master Simon Dods, canon of Aberdeen and prebendary of Invernochtie, the Carmelites of Aberdeen oblige themselves to celebrate a Mass of the Blessed Virgin every Saturday for the soul of John, late earl of Mar and Garioch, and of Margaret of Denmark, late queen of Scotland, for the founder {i.e. Master Simon Dods} and for the souls of all the faithful departed etc
