Robert Vaus, executor of Alexander Vaus, presents charter of Alexander's dated 18 May 1491 whereby he gave to the chaplains of the choir a burghal land in the cross roads to celebrate Masses at the altar founded by him in the cathedral in honour of St Congan, abbot, and Katherine, Margaret, Martha, and Barbara, virgins, with the provision that in any Mass there may be a special collect with a collect of the Mass for the founder.

Alexander Vaus dedit capellanis chori terram burgagiam in vico furcarum pro missis celebrandis ad altare a se fundatum in ecclesia cathedrali in honorem S. Congani abbatis . Katerine . Margarite . Marthe . et Barbare virginum . prouiso quod in qualibet missa sit vna collecta specialis cum collecta de missa pro fundatore videlicet Omnipotens sempiterne Deus miserere famuli tui Alexandri etc. quamdiu vixero in humanis et Deus cuius misericordia etc. post meum obitum . xviij Maij M.CCCC.XCI. et Robertus Vaus executor Alexandri presentauit cartam eiusdem xxxi Julij M.D.I .
