Ingram, bishop of Aberdeen, for the honour of Almighty God and the Blessed Virgin Mary grants all the lands of Westhall to a perpetual chaplain in Aberdeen cathedral to celebrate divine service for the souls of King James II, Queen Mary, his spouse, his own soul, and that of David Lindsay second earl of Crawfurd. The chaplain will receive 40 s for saying the two anniversaries, for his soul on the day after the octaves of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and for the soul of David, the second earl, on 7 January.
