Thomas White is convicted for the troubling of David Reid, officer, and of Duncan Fraser. He is ordered to come on Sunday in eight days time, in the time of High Mass, within the choir of the said burgh {church}, with bare feet and head, with a candle of one pound of wax in his hand, and there to sit down on his knees and ask for forgiveness, and offer the said candle to St Nicholas' light. He is to pay 10 li to St Nicholas' work if he commits such a fault to an officer or neighbour in the future.

Scottis mone to Sanct Nicholace vark, gif euer he committis sicklik falt to ony officiar or nychtbour within this burgh; and als to satisfe and pleis the said officiar and barbour for curing of him; and als to mend the skayth done be him to the said Freseris tirleis and vindak, and to set cautioun for the same or he departit of the tolbuith, and John Tulidef zovnger is becumin souerte for the said Quhit for fulfilling of all the premisses.
