The town grants and promises to give William lord Forbes a tun of wine yearly at Pasche and Lammas, for keeping their waters and fishings of the Don and the Dee, in time of raid, from all manner of nets, fishing boats, spears etc, from the Nativity of our Lady to the feast of St Andrew yearly.

The said day, the haill toune beyng varnit, &c., grantit and promittit to gif William Lord Forbes ane tounn of wyne yeirlie, Pasche and Lammes, for keiping of thair watteris and fischingis of Done and Dee, with thair pertinence, in raid tyme fra all maner of nettis, cobillis, wawsperis, heryvalteris, and all wther instrumentis, fra the natiuite of our Ladye yeirlie to the fest of Sanct Androw, he causand keip the same at his vter power {. . .}
