In the tolbooth before the bailies of Aberdeen sitting in judgement, David Menzies, elder, master of the kirk work of the said burgh, declared that he had received half a chalder of lime for the kirk work from Anne Gray, the spouse of Allan Smith, for her tomb at St Eloi's altar in the parish church of St Nicholas.

In the tolbuthe before the baillies of Abirdene in jugement Dauid Menzes elder maister of the kirkwark of the said burgh declarit that he had ressauit fra Anne gray the spous of Allan Smyth half a chalder of lyme to the kirkwark for hir sepulture at Saint eloyis altar in the paroche kirk of Sanct nicolace quhat tym it sal happin hir to decess, to be allowit til hir be quhatsumeuer maister of the kirkwark being for the tym in name of the toune in hail payment and contention for the caus forsaid, of the quhilk the said maister of the kirkwark grantit him fullely content and payt And dischargit the said Anny and al vtheris on hir behalf thareof now and for evyr.
