Notarial instrument recording that sir John Vaus, chaplain of the choir of St Nicholas of Aberdeen, gave and resigned an annual rent of 26 s 8 d into hands of Gilbert Malyson, one of the bailies of the burgh. This annual rent is from land in the Netherkirkgate on the north side, between the land of Robert Gray on the west, and the land of the altar of St Barbara the Virgin on the east. Sasine then given to curate and chaplains of the choir of the parish church of St Nicholas.
