William Leith augmented and enlarged the choir of the Blessed Virgin Mary in length towards the south by the space of 16 feet; and there he founded the altar of SS Laurence and Ninian, which he adorned with Mass book, breviary, and priestly vestments; and there he lies buried. The same William left in his will 40 li to the fabric of the church.
