On the same day, John Fife, Stephen Johnson, and John Gray were elected as masters of the fabric and conservators of the goods of the parish church of St Nicholas of this burgh, etc. Also John of Mar and Andrew Ayncroft are ordained keepers and gatherers of the profit that may come from the ships that come to the town, that is to say, the freight of sack and barrel to the church work.

Eodem die Johannes de Fife, Stephanus John[ne]son' et Johannes Gray elect[i] fuerunt in magistros fabrice et conservatores bonorum ecclesie parrochialis Beati Nycholai huius burgi, etc. Alsua John[ne] of Marr' and Androu Ayncroft arr' ordanit keparis and gaderar[is] of the profite that may cum of the schippes that cummys to the toune, that is to say, the fraght of sek and tun to the kirkwerk.
