It is statute and ordained in our Chapter that the souls of those who have given perpetual rent to this Abbey and Hospital of St Anthony beside Leith, or has augmented God's service by foundation or any other ways has given substanciously of their goods to the building, repairing and upholding of the foresaid abbey and place, that they be prayed for every Sunday until Doomsday. Prayers etc in honour of God almighty, the glorious Virgin and our holy father and patron saint Anthony. The names of the benefactors are [. . .]
