Thomas de London makes known that he has granted to God and the church of St Mary of Lessuden the tofts which he held on the south side of the church and half of the orchard beside the church, and land and the meadow on the west side of the church . . ., so that the parson of the church may constitute an altar in honour of St Margaret the virgin on the south of the church and every week shall sing a Mass for the soul of King David and for Thomas' wife Margaret and for the souls of all the faithful.
