Seal of Cause by the bailies, burgesses and community of the burgh of the Canongate to the Bakers of the Canongate, following upon the petition by Thomas Thom, deacon and kirkmaster of that craft. It provides an altar to the built in the Abbey of Holyrood to the honour of their patron, St. Hubert. Dated 30 March 1536. Confirmed by Robert, Commendator of Holyrood, 30 September 1547.
