- The bailzeis chargit Willeam Rolland in iugment to fulfill his part of the contract maid betuix vmqll Willeam Rolland his fader and the smyths of this guid tovun tuching the vestment to Sanct Cloyis {sic} altar thar patrovun of the dait the xiij. day of August the zeir of God ane thousand five hundret xxvj. zeris And to bring the said vestment conforme to the said contract in the first and eiest schpie {sic} that passis furth of Abirden to Flanderis frathin furt and returnis agane to Abirdene.

- The bailies charged William Rolland to fulfil his part of the contract made between the late William Rolland, his father, and the smiths of this good town concerning the vestment to St Eloi's altar, their patron, of the date 13 August 1526, and to bring the said vestment conform to the said contract in the first ship that passes from Aberdeen to Flanders and returns again to Aberdeen.
