- The said day John Craig took upon himself to prove on Friday coming that he had the authority of James Collison to deliver a li groat of St James silver to a painter to help to buy a tabernacle for the said St James' altar and that he had delivered the same to the painter in James' name. In addition William {Oram} granted that there was a li groat of the said St James' silver in his hands and obliged that he would pay the same to the first ship or ships for the decoration of the said altar.
