- summary
- On 16 May 1518, compeared Thomas Wright, chaplain, and resigned his land on the east of the Gallowgate into the hands of Alexander Menzies, bailie. He thereupon granted sasine of it to Master Thomas Chalmer, chaplain of the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Joseph situated in the parish church of St Nicholas, according to the tenor of a charter providing for the performance of services for the granter and his parents.
