Charter by Sir James Young, collector of the choir of the parochial church of St Mary the virgin of Dundee, William Hude, curate, Alexander Carnegy, Thomas Bell, Thomas Duquhir, James Erskyne, Mr Andrew Cowper, George Olipheir, James Ramsay, Robert Gray, Henry Futhe, Hugh Lawson, and Thomas Abircrommy, weekly chaplains and choristers of the choir of the church aforesaid, constituting the general or weekly chapter of the aforesaid choir, in favour of Richard Gilgoure, wood-carpenter, burgess of Dundee, his heirs, etc, of that land fore and back, with yard of the same, now waste, lying within the said burgh on the south side of the seagate thereof, between the land of the heirs of the late Andrew Just on the east, the land of John Dog on the west, the sea tide on the south, and the King’s way (high street) on the north: To be holden in feu ferme for 16 shillings yearly. Also 40 li to be spent over four years in repairing and building said land.
