notes
Radulf was bishop of Aberdeen from 1239 until 1247. This charter was confirmed by King Alexander III (see pages 272-3) in a charter which is dated 15 April 1277. The latter charter is dated 1242 in the table of contents but internal evidence (Radulf is dead, Alexander Comyn is constable of Scotland) confirms that it is a charter of Alexander III, not Alexander II.
