The King, because Alexander, abbot of Cambuskenneth, with the agreement of his monks and the parishioners of the parish church of St Ninian near the burgh of Stirling, was intending to join the clerical income of the parochial office aforesaid to certain prebends within the church named before; and three chaplaincies have been founded by King James IV, one within the said monastery [...]; therefore he has transferred the said chaplaincy within the said monastery to the parish church named above
