Richard by the grace of God bishop of Moray to all worthy men of the whole of his bishopric, clergy and lay, health and blessing. Those present and those to come should know that we have granted and by this our charter have confirmed to William son of Freskyn and his heirs, ‘Logynauedal’ and ‘le Logyndykis’ with all the lands which rightly belong to the aforesaid places, he and his heirs holding them from us and our successors free and quit from all service and custom which pertains to us, rendering yearly to us and our successors one stone of wax at the feast of Saint Patrick. Furthermore, we have granted and by this same charter have confirmed to God and the church of Blessed Peter of Duffus, and to Andrew the parson, our clerk, and his son, the full teinds of the same land in perpetual alms of charity, just as the charter of our predecessor, Simon, testifies.
