The King has confirmed in mortmain a charter of Thomas Turing, burgess of Edinburgh, by which [...] he has granted to his kinsmen and legitimate heirs, who failing, to John of Turing, Alexander of Turing, and Adam of Turing, and their male heirs whosoever, for the maintenance of one chaplain or chaplains of teaching plain chant, reading, etc., at the altar of the Saviour in the church of St Antony, confessor, near Leith, the yearly income of 40 shillings [etc.]
