Grant of lands and grounds of St Leonard's. Mention of St Leonard's wynd.

Letters of Gift by Robert Logan of Restalrig and Leith, to Patrick, Abbot of Holyrood, and Dean William Herries for themselves and the whole Convent, of the lands and ground of St. Leonards rightfully belonging to the said Abbot and Convent, beginning at the east end of the great vaults of William Logan on the east and the road that passes to the ford on the Water of Leith on the west half, the waste land beside the house and the land of John Turenge on the west, St. Leonard's Wynd on the south and the water of the port of Leith on the north, to be held by them with the superiority absolutely in time coming. Dated 25 March 1439.
