Agreement between the abbot and convent of Dunfermline on one side and Michael Scot, knight, on the other, regarding the mill lade of Kirkcaldy was reached in 1280 on the Sunday after the feast of St John before the Latin Gate. Includes stipulation that an annual payment of a pair of Parisian gloves or 3 d is to be taken from the millars of the mill at the feast of the translation of Blessed Margaret the queen by the abbot and convent.
