Jonet, prioress of Haddington and her convent confirm the donation made by sir Alan White, chaplain, to God, the church of St Columba 'de Insula Emonia' and the abbot, convent and canons serving God there, of two tenements or burgages lying in the Nungate of Haddington . . . Alan has assigned these tenements to the canons for the salvation of his soul and those of his father, mother, ancestors, and successors, and for the upkeep of a lamp in the choir of Inchcolm etc

Omnibus hoc scriptum visuris vel audituris Joneta permissione divina Priorissa monialium de Hadyngtoun et eiusdem loci conventus Salutem in Domino Sempiternam.
