Hugh Cnot grants by his charter to God, the church of St Columba 'de Insula' and the canons serving there, for the soul of his lord, Richard, bishop of Dunkeld, an annual rent of two shillings which he received by hereditary right from the land which Thurkin the blood-letter held in the burgh of Haddington.
