Along with {on 10 September} an anniversary for Thomas Vaus of 6 s 8 d from the land of the late John Arthur, burgess of Aberdeen, now pertaining to the altar of the Name of Jesus in the church of St Nicholas on its south part, now in the hands of sir John Vaus, chaplain of the said altar.

Vnacum anniuersario Thome Vaus vj s. viij d. de terra quondam Johannis Arthur burgensis de Abirden nunc pertinente ad altare Nominis Jesu in ecclesia diui Nicolaij iacente in vico superiore ecclesie Abirdonensi ex parte australi eiusdem nunc in manibus domini Johannis Vaus capellani dicti altaris .
