Master Duncan Shearer, prebendary of Clatt, gave a tenement in general and an annual rent of 10 s in augmentation of the chaplainry of St Andrew, founded by Laurence Piot. Moreover he founded a bursary in the new college from some annual rents for a young student in arts, of his kin or another suitable. He gave a rent of 20 s to the new college for his own anniversary to be celebrated.
