James IV confirms (by Great Seal) charter of Andrew Lyell, treasurer of Aberdeen, executor of the goods of Master Alexander Lindsay, late rector of Belhelvie, who, for the well being of James IV and for the salvation of the soul of the said late Alexander and those of Henry, Simon and Patrick Kinghorn, granted to the holy and indivisible Trinity and the most glorious Virgin Mary of Aberdeen, helper to human kind, and to the choral chaplains, an annual rent of 10 merks from the lands of Anguston, lying in the lordship of Drum. The said chaplains are required to celebrate divine service at the altar of SS Sebastian, Stephen and Laurence in Aberdeen cathedral, {altar} founded by Lyell as executor of Lindsay, at nine o'clock in the morning.
