Since the perpetual chaplainry of the altar of St Anne, situated within the parish church of St Nicholas of Aberdeen, is vacant due to the promotion of John Smaly to the perpetual vicarage of Kingoldrum, Brechin diocese, at the presentation of James lord of Forbes, the bishop instructs John of Pittenweem to institute sir Thomas David, chaplain, to that chaplainry.
