The same day the alderman and council has presented and granted to sir Henry Harvey, chaplain of St Michael's altar, for his good service, and his continued service to be done in the future in St Nicholas' kirk in divine service, that he shall have, for all the days of his life, yearly from the common purse and common good of the burgh, 6 li 13 s 4 d of usual payment of Scotland, together with all profits and duties pertaining to the altar of St Michael.

The same day the Alderman and Consel hes presentit and gravntit tir Schir Henry Hervy, chaplane of Sanct Michalis' Altar, for his gude service, and continuatione tharof to be done be him in tyme tocum in Sanct Nicholes' Kirk in diuine service that he sal hafe for all the daiis of his life yerlie of the common purs and of the common gude of the said burgh sex pundis threttene schillingis and foure pennys of vsuale payment of Scotland, togiddre with all proffittis and dewiteis pertening til the forsaid Altar of Sanct Michael. {. . .}
