The alderman, with consent and assent of the most part of the council, has given and granted to sir Thomas Anderson, chaplain of St Ninian's altar, the enfeoffment of William of Meldrum of all and whole the land with the pertinents of the late sir John Kindeloch, vicar of Kinnernie, lying at the School Hill of the burgh of Aberdeen on the north side, between the school land on the west side and the land of the late Duncan Buchan on the east side, for all the days of his life, by doing yearly an obit of sir John Kindeloch's soul Mass, and whatever {sum} the said sir Thomas finds that the land is better yearly, then he is to pray for the soul of the said sir John Kindeloch after the content of his own conscience.

The alderman, with the consent and assent of the maste part of the counsale, has giffin and grauntyt to Sir thomas anderson, chaplane of sanctt ninyains altar, of the feftment of William of meldrum all and hale the lande with the pertinents of umquhil Sir Johne of kindelochis, vicar of kinerny, lyande at the scoule hill of the burgh of Aberden on the north syde of that ilke, betuix the scoule lande on the west syde and the lande of vmquhile Duncane of buchan on the est syde, for all the dayis of his lyve, be deande yerely ane obbyt of Sir Johne of kindelochis saule mess, and quhat that the saide Sir thomas findis that the saide lande is better yerely to pray for the saule of the said Sir Johne of kindeloch efter the content of his awin consciens: And the saide sir thomas sal vphalde suffyciandely the saide lande for his tyme, and this we haue giffin and grantyt to the said Sir thomas for his tym as we that ar patronys of the saide lande with the pertinentis and may dispone that apon quhen euer it vaikis.
