Master John Clat, canon of Aberdeen, compears and assigns to the provost, bailies, and councillors, the reversion, after his own death, of the patronage of the chaplainry founded by him at the altar of St Michael the archangel - such reversion having previously belonged to his cousin, Duncan Clat, recently deceased; the office to be filled up within 20 days after a vacancy occurs. The said Master John gives symbolical delivery to John Fife, provost, and constitutes Master Martin Vaus, canon, his procurator, to accompany the said provost to the said altar, and there to give him possession in due form.
