In the year of our Lord 1352, John de Anstroyer, burgess of the said burgh, adorned the Altar of S. Nicholas with the image of S. Mary, situated above the High Altar, on the north side of the foresaid altar. To whose soul may God be gracious, and bring it unto the fatherland of eternal brightness.
