And payment of 13 li 6 s 8 d to these friars, from the king's alms of the year of the account, a sum which two chaplains founded in the same place by King David were accustomed to receive, as revealed in the ancient rolls

Et eidem, per solucionem factam Fratribus Predicatoribus Sancti Monani de Inverry, in completam solucionem viginti marcarum de anno precedenti hoc compotum, quia solum allocabantur eisdem dicto anno decem libre duo solidi septem denarii cum obolo, ut patet in eodem, iij li iiij s ob. Et eisdem Fratribus, de elimosina regis anni compoti et sub periculo compotantis, xiij li vj s viij d, quam summam recipere consueverunt duo capellani in dicto loco fundati per quondam regem David, ut patet in antiquis rotulis.
